Prior to designing and building this board I was using a piece of spare plywood for my effects pedals. They now have a new home: a white oak, hinge-operable board with a velcro carpet face, brass screw and hand-cut leather handle, integrated power and input/output jacks, and tidy cable routing pockets. This project was an exercise in returning to basics, and I really loved working with custom jigs and getting the rabbets just right.
